Hautlence, established by three young entrepreneur;- Renaud De Retz, Guillaume Tetu and Quentin, is a young watch brand based in the Swiss town Neuchatel. A new-comer to the high-end watchmaking industry though, it has made itself a reputable non-tradition watch maker by innovative designs and lasting efforts.

According to Hautlence, while the HL2.0 watch is around the corner, the classic round modle has been refreshed into HLC3 and HLC4 watches for ladies who love fine timepieces that are able to give them a different feel. Constructed in round cases, these new Hautlence watches looks fabulous with the brand’s mechanical HLC movement partially displayed on the dials.

The case, 41mm at diameter, is available in 18k white gold or pink gold. To work with the dial layout, the crown is moved to 4 o’clock position. The bezel is either nicely polished or set with brilliant-cut diamonds. Each model comes with different mother-of-pearl for the back plate of the dial. And that works nicely with the over-lapped subsidiary dials for hours and minutes. The hours is displayed in a window attached in rotating disc. As it rotates, the numeral for current hour is exposed. The minutes is presented by a retrograde hand that start from the 0 position of the minute scale. When it reaches 60 position, it will jumps back to the starting position. Both subdials looks quite technical.

This is a lovely watch that is reliable and easy to operate. Completed the watch is a white reptile leather strap. The basic model without diamond decoration sells at about 60,000 Swiss Francs
