Since Admiral’s Cup Chronograph 44 Centro released early this year turn out a success, Corum decides to launch a limited edition watch based on this model. This new centro watch, while having different color scheme, sports a mono-pusher that includes the crown and chronograph pushers into one. For some watch lovers, chronograph watches with a mono-pusher are attractive since they look much cleaner than traditional chronograph watches. But, in fact, most people may feel this complication is less practical than a a two pusher chronograph as it is not possible to pause timing.
Honestly, the centro part of the timepiece appeals to me much more than the mono-pusher. Not like regular chronograph watches that use subdials to display the chronograph function, the watch applies two central hands. The slimmest hand displays the chronograph seconds, while the red-arrow- tipped is used for the chronograph minutes. The central zone of the dial, with nice cotes de Geneve style stripes, includes small seconds subdial at 9 o’clock and a large date window at 3 o’clock. The hands for hours and minutes is crafted from polished steel and is applied with black luminous substance for optimal night reading.
The standard 44mm case is made from titanium and coated with black PVD. The Corum Admiral’s Cup Chronograph 44 Centro Mono-Pusher Limited Edition Watch is powered by a COSC-certified Corum CO961 movement. According corum watches for sale, this attractive timepiece is just limited to 555 pieces worldwide. Surely, it will be highly sought after by those who love watches with mono-pusher complication.
